Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast widely regarded as one of the most outstanding athletes. The 2016 Olympics took place at Rio de Janeiro and Biles became the U.S.'s only female gymnast to be awarded four gold medals. She also claimed the title of world champion for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles was raised within Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after she and her sister Adria were adopted by their parents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone first became interested in the sport of gymnastics when she was just 6. Her coach Aimee Borman took her to Bannon's Gymnastix and they took them for an outing. Biles won the floor and vault exercises at the 2009 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before moving up to the elite competition level in the year 2011. Two years later, she dominated the sport. Biles's consistent, exuberant nature and high degree of challenge during her four events- vault uneven bars balance beam floor workout and floor exercise -- made her out from the rest of the athletes.
