Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born into a mixed ethnic family. She's English as well as her father is Nigerian. She was raised in the south of a London council estate and attended The Brit School at age 14. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she obtained a BA degree in acting. While at school she appeared in numerous stage plays, including King Henry V's Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.

She also appeared as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path written directed by David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009, with the dramatic The Beautiful Life. The series aired only two episodes before being ended on The CW. The actress was selected in February 2011, as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe's exit from the series was officially announced in May of 2013. After a period of two years as the main character she was a guest in the opening episode of season 3. Between 2014 and 2016, Madekwe was a star as Tituba on the show Salem. Madekwe got married to her long-time partner, Iddo. They've collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also was a character on the TV series Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress who was twice nominated for a Gemini Award, comes from an extensive Hamilton family. Her four older brothers were also present and included twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's brothers were athletic and played baseball during summers as well as hockey in winter. Ashley was never able to walk. She danced. So when she was just 2 1/2 years old when she was a little older, she began to take part in Baby Ballet. Ashley discovered a love for dancing when she began Baby Ballet. Ashley was a competitor in ballet, jazz and tap in the high divisions. Every big dance events, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which have awarded her the distinction of "top Soloist".
