Kirsten Vangsness is an American actor since the early 1990s. Her most well-known role was as Penelope Garcia, a police procedural in the TV program Criminal Minds. Kirsten vangsness was also in two of the spin-offs "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" as well as "Criminal Minds: suspect behavior". While she is primarily regarded for her TV acting, Vangsness also has a few minor roles in film. Her first appearance was in showbiz in 1998. There have been some notable performances in films such as 'In My Sleep, 'The Chicago 8" and 'Kill Me, Deadly.' She's also written pieces for the Los Angeles Times and co-wrote episodes on Criminal Minds. She has rescued and rehabilitated several neglected and injured felines.
