Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Being initially drawn by the shadows of trees she observed on the grass, she spent months studying a method that did not convey the selected subject as a 2-dimensional representation on canvas. Instead, the object is transformed into a reproduction of itself and the canvas is the vehicle for its individual interpretation of the subject, particularly in the case of alive or perishable like people or fruit. The ephemeral nature of her art style is apparent and the only thing that remains in Alexa Meade's art is a photograph. As the photographic and painting techniques are coordinated so closely, the end result is an illusion of trompe l'oeil, in which the illusion of three dimensions appears only at specific places, for example the region around the eyes or hair. At times, Meade integrates her painted models into the three-dimensional environment around them, which allows them to interact within the self-created universe. By doing so, Meade has removed the borders between painting, photography and the performance.
